Cristiano Ronaldo has been scoring goals for fun at Saudi Arabian club Al-Nassr but has been backed to make a return to Manchester United by his ex-teammate.
After losing to their bitter rivals Al-Hilal in the Saudi Super Cup final, Al-Nassr and Cristiano Ronaldo were forced to settle for second place overall. The man with a champion’s mentality, Ronaldo, wasn’t content with accepting the silver medal and is now supported to return spectacularly to Manchester United, the team that first saw him rise to fame. Louis Saha, Ronaldo’s former Manchester United teammate, has pleaded with the Portuguese striker to come back to Old Trafford, even in a coaching or managerial capacity.
Cristiano Ronaldo has the drive and commitment to eventually rejoin Manchester United, perhaps in a managerial or coaching capacity.
Ronaldo, who first transferred from Sporting CP to Manchester United in 2003, departed for Real Madrid in 2009 and returned in 2021. But things didn’t work out during his second tenure there, and in 2022 he was forced to quit and join Al-Nassr, a Saudi Arabian club, where he is now a player.
Ronaldo has the expertise and the attitude needed to become a manager, but Saha has advised him to slightly alter his communication style.
“Now that he is a coach, he will understand that he needs to develop a new communication style that may be less severe or direct than it was while he was with the team.
We have saw Roy Keane succeed in management, so he will figure out how to be successful and apply all of his skills to accomplish that. “I see no reason why Cristiano wouldn’t be successful as a manager; he will understand what he needs to do,” the individual remarked.
The next time we’ll see Ronaldo in action is on Thursday, when Al-Nassr takes on Al-Raed in the Saudi Pro League opener.
