Football fans have always found YouTube to be interesting. Beginning with Joga Bonito films and highlights, football-related podcasts and discussion programs have proliferated, with many former and present players contributing. Therefore, it came as no surprise when Cristiano Ronaldo opened his YouTube page on Wednesday and joined the trend.
The Portugal captain announced on social media that the wait is over. At last, my @YouTube channel is live! Come along with me on this new journey by subscribing.
Shortly after he uploaded his debut video, the channel amassed 1.69 million followers. On Thursday, Ronaldo will be playing for Al Nassr in the Saudi Pro League against Al Raed. Ronaldo also shattered the record on YouTube when he acquired 10 million members in a single day. It surpassed Hamster Kombat’s previous record, which stood for seven days.
After losing to Al Hilal in the last Spanish Super Cup final, Ronaldo and Al Nassr will try to get back on track. Ronaldo scored the only goal as Al Nassr collapsed to a 1-4 loss. In the meanwhile, Malcom, Sergej Milinkovic-Savic, and Aleksandar Mitrovic all put their names on the scoresheet and scored a brace for Al Hilal.
Ronaldo will now try to challenge Al Hilal’s hegemony in the national league. “I’m feeling a lot of apprehension because this season is going to be very difficult,” Al Hilal defender Kalidou Koulibaly said in an interview with The Associated Press. It was a challenging championship the previous year, but we prevailed. Every squad will be aiming to defeat Al Hilal this year.”
“Our players are eager for Neymar to return. We are aware that his injuries will require some time to heal, but fans will see a fantastic Neymar. When we watch him in training, he remains driven.
“It is anticipated that Neymar’s squad would participate in that competition. So in order to get him out there and in the greatest possible shape to help us win trophies, we’re going to do everything in training,” he continued.
