The Turin giants confirmed on Wednesday that French defender Pierre Kalulu has joined Juventus on a season-long loan from AC Milan. The 24-year-old, who came through Lyon’s youth before joining Milan in 2020, has made 112 appearances for the team. Lyon is a Ligue 1 team. At the conclusion of Kalulu’s loan, Juventus has the option to purchase him permanently for 14 million euros ($15.6 million). Juve, led by Thiago Motta, defeated Como 3-0 over the weekend to start their pursuit of a first Serie A championship since 2020 off to a successful start.
