All-rounder Sikandar Raza is undoubtedly one of the great talents ever produced in Zimbabwe.
Sikandar Raza, an all-around player, is without a doubt one of the greatest athletes Zimbabwe has ever produced. Raza has played in 17 Tests, 142 ODIs, and 91 T20Is since making his debut in 2013 and has had a number of noteworthy performances. Raza has made significant contributions not just to international cricket but also to domestic tournaments such as the Pakistan Super League (PSL) and Indian Premier League (IPL). on his personal life, the 38-year-old all-rounder, who was born in Sialkot, Pakistan, was recently questioned on social media about his feelings on representing his birthplace.
A fan questioned Raza on X (previously Twitter): “Have you ever considered playing for Pakistan? You might be able to ease the middle-order hitting situation.”
In response, Raza reaffirmed his support for Zimbabwe Cricket and said he would make an effort to “repay the faith” that the board had given in him.
“I only ever intend to represent Zimbabwe. I am merely attempting to return the time and money that (Zimbabwe) invested in me; anything I do will never come close to compensating for it. I am completely theirs and mine, said Raza.
A fan questioned Raza about his favorite hitter and bowler in a different post. Unexpectedly, Raza mentioned a few names, including former West Indies all-rounder Sunil Narine, Pakistani sensation Shaheen Afridi, and Indian bowler Jasprit Bumrah.
