During their seven-wicket victory against Kolkata Knight Riders, all-rounder Ravindra Jadeja of the Chennai Super Kings became the first player in the Indian Premier League (IPL) to have at least 100 catches, 1,000 runs, and 100 wickets.

On Monday night, Jadeja reached the century mark with two catches and was declared the player of the match after taking three wickets in his first eight deliveries. In the IPL, he has amassed 2,776 runs and claimed 156 wickets.
The 35-year-old is now tied for the most catches made by a fielder in the Indian Premier League with Rohit Sharma (100), Suresh Raina (109), Kieron Pollard (103) and Virat Kohli (110).
He declared, “I don’t count my catches,” at the mid-inning intermission.
Following the game, Jadeja remarked that he has always loved bowling in Chennai.
“I merely intended to bowl at strategic locations. I’ve practiced a lot here, and it will surely help you if you bowl in the right spots,” he continued.
Chennai, who had lost their previous two games in a row, entered the game ranked fourth in the rankings after three victories in five games.
