Former Indian captain and World Cup winner MS Dhoni talked about his friendship with star batsman Virat Kohli, with whom he had many special moments and collaborations over his remarkable career. Dhoni recently gave a speech at a Hyderabad-based event. Regarding his friendship with Virat, Dhoni mentioned that they always find time to talk when they meet. For a very long period, we were comrades who represented India in cricket. When it comes to international cricket, Kohli has always been among the best. We used to take a lot of twos and threes in the game, so it was wonderful that I could bat with him frequently throughout the middle overs.
hence it’s always been enjoyable. Although we don’t really get together all the time, we always make time to get a coffee or tea and talk about our lives. That is the nature of our friendship,” Dhoni said.
Recently, Virat was a member of the victorious ICC T20 World Cup squad in Barbados. The team defeated South Africa by seven runs in the final, and the 35-year-old scored the game-winning 76 in what ended up being his final Twenty20 international encounter for India.
Currently on a visit in Sri Lanka, Virat is taking part in the ODI series. On Friday, the three-match series got underway.
