At the Sawai Mansingh Stadium in Jaipur, Gujarat Titans captain Shubman Gill broke yet another record after his knock against the Rajasthan Royals. Gill is still leading the team at the bat. In the Indian Premier League, the leadoff hitter defeated none other than Virat Kohli to become the youngest player to reach the 3,000-run mark.
Gill broke the record by becoming the youngest player to reach the 3000 IPL runs milestone at the age of 24 years and 215 days, surpassing players like as Virat Kohli and Sanju Samson.
The captain of the Titans is now the fourth-fastest player in tournament history to reach 3,000 runs. He moves up to the fourth rank in the milestone, joining two IPL legends, David Warner and Faf du Plessis.

The opening batter has been a key component of GT’s recent success, as they have advanced to back-to-back finals and won the championship in their inaugural season in 2022. His season-long total of 890 runs scored for the team last year earned him the orange cap for most runs scored. It was his best hitting season to date.
Gill’s knock in the match against RR was what gave the team any chance to steal the victory. After laying the groundwork with a 72-run innings in 44 deliveries, Rashid Khan led the team home in a thrilling final-ball victory to give them their first away victory of the year.
