Among the most notable absences from the BCCI’s T20 World Cup roster announced on Tuesday was KL Rahul. The seasoned batter-wicketer was left off of the reserves list for the major tournament. Rahul was disregarded even though he was the IPL 2024 captain and the first wicketkeeper-batter to reach 400 runs. Mumbai passed the 100-run milestone thanks to the batsman Wadhera, who maintained the MI’s run flow.
After reaching forty-six runs, Wadhera returned to the pavilion as a result of a smirking yorker from Mohsin. Mayank Yadav joined the party of wicket-takers in the 19th over, dismissing new batsman Mohammad Nabi for a single run. Mayank left the field before completing his over after taking his maiden wicket. Tim David scorched Mohsin for 17 runs in the last over.
