Mayank broke Bengaluru’s back in the 182-run chase with taking crucial wickets of Glenn Maxwell (0), Cameron Green (9) and Rajat Patidar (29). His fast speed was too much for the Australian pair to handle, and he outperformed them.

With a short delivery that took Maxwell off guard, the Australian misjudged and was captured by Nicholas Pooran for a second ball duck. He defeated Green with an incredible jaffa in the meanwhile, hitting the top of the off-stump with a delivery that nipped back in. Patidar also attempted a pull shot, which Devdutt Padikkal successfully caught.
