When Nepal defeated Mongolia 314 at the Asian Games 2023 in Hangzhou, China, they set a record for the greatest team total in T20 cricket history. Dipender Singh Airee smashed six consecutive sixes off pitches in a separate over in the same game.
Sunrisers Hyderabad 287/3 vs Royal Challengers Bengaluru, IPL 2024
At the storied M Chinnaswamy Stadium in Bengaluru, the Sunrisers defeated the Royal Challengers Bengaluru 287/3. Head, Heinrich Klaasen, Abdul Samad, and Aiden all played outstanding batting displays as runs fell from the sky. The game in question also happened to have the highest aggregate ruins for a T20 ever recorded.
Afghanistan 278/3 vs Ireland in 2019
The Afghanistan cricket team set a record in 2019 by scoring the most runs ever in a Twenty20 match, which was later surpassed by Nepal. Hazratullah Zazai recorded an undefeated 162 in that same game, which is the second-highest individual score in Twenty20 Internationals.
Czech Republic 278/4 vs Turkey in 2019
The Czech Republic trounced Turkey 278/4 thanks to Sudesh Wickramasekara’s 104 and Hilal Ahmad’s 79 plus 39 extras. Turkey was then bowled out for just 21 as the Czrch team recorded the largest loss in T20Is, which was subsequently broken by Nepla when they defeated Mongolia by 273 runs.
Sunrisers Hyderabad 277/3 vs Mumbai Indians in IPL 2024
Sunrisers had set an IPL record with a 277 against Mumbai Indians, and then repeated that feat against RCB with a 287. Head had hit 62 in the match and was clearly in the lead. But Heinrich Klaasen and Abhishek Sharma had already reached their fifties, in addition to him.
