mobile-oriented esports league Together, Tribe Gaming and AT&T, a telecommunications firm, have transformed an RV into a mobile gaming hub.
Fans and the organization’s content providers will be able to participate in competitions at the Tribe Mobile Club House thanks to mobile device equipment.
As part of the partnership, Tribe Gaming will utilize the vehicle to exhibit its trophies and transport it to various events, such as TwitchCon and South by Southwest. AT&T will supply the mobile devices used in the Club House.
The Club House will serve as Tribe Gaming’s “sixth man,” transporting the group’s participants to events held around North America, according to a release. Additionally, there will be chances for participants to win prizes in the fan-based tournaments.
Since announcing their agreement in July 2023, Tribe Gaming and AT&T have worked together on a number of activations, including the development of the Club House. As part of the multi-year agreement, AT&T will brand the players’ jerseys and the content providers in its network.
In the past, companies have been able to give a distinctive service during in-person events by converting cars into mobile gaming facilities. Astrails, a Danish esports organization, collaborated with STARK to introduce a mobile gaming truck in August 2023.
“With AT&T, we’re paving a new route and expanding the definition of what it means to be a mobile gamer,” said Sean Smith, CEO of Tribe Gaming, in a statement on the partnership.
“We are thrilled to share the jewel in our partnership with gamers nationwide and watch it come to life!”
