Before choosing his next move, Kohli said he will take a long sabbatical after retiring from cricket.
“I’ll be gone as soon as I’m finished, so you won’t see me for a long (smiles). That’s the only thing that keeps me going, so I want to give it everything I’ve got till I play,” he continued.
In the IPL 2024, Kohli is now a player for RCB. Having scored 661 runs in 13 innings at a strike rate of 155.16 and an outstanding average of 66.10, he is presently the tournament’s top run scorer.
RCB, who finished fifth in the table with 12 points, is still in the running for the play-offs. On Saturday, they play CSK in a match that is essentially a knockout.

The weather prediction for Bengaluru indicates rain for the next five days, which puts the match at risk of being canceled.
Should there be a washout, each team will receive one point. CSK will advance to the IPL 2024 playoffs, while RCB will be eliminated from the competition.
